The Production Process
Your simple guide to ordering packaging for your musical format.
We will be happy to quote you for any requirement you may have, by phone or e-mail. Please complete the form on the appropriate page.
Please consider carefully your budget. The more parts you order, the more cost effective your order becomes. The cost of ordering 1,000 units may only be a very few pounds more than the cost for 500!
You might always be able to use a few extra units for advertising and/or promotional purposes.
Your Choice Of Packaging
Have you decided which of the multitude of packaging formats will be most suited to your CD or vinyl?
If not, look through your collection at home, or browse through the products in your local music store for inspiration! You will need to decide on the style (especially for CD), the stock and the finish you require. Should you find something which you would like us to match, you could always send us your sample to enable us to give you a competitive quote, and we will return the sample to you the same day. We can also send out to you, by post, samples of product we have manufactured, in the various stocks, to assist you with your choice.
Please remember that the more sophisticated the packaging, the more it will cost!
The Design
It is no good supplying us with a photograph of yourself or your band, and a typed out song track list – regrettably we are not a design house! Nor, more often than not, are we able to work from something produced on a home computer in Word or a simple design programme! If you supply something like this, it will almost inevitably result in extra costs for the time taken to format the artwork to industry specification, and more than likely result in your disappointment with the end result!
Please ask your designer to check our design specifications on this web site. If your chosen format is not readily available, please contact us direct.
If you supply professional artwork, we will produce for you a professional product!
The Procedure
We pride ourselves on the service and quality we endeavour to provide our customers. To assist us in this process please submit the form below or send us a written order. You should then send us your artwork on disc or e-mail PDF files.
On receipt of your order, we will check that we have all the necessary information. We will contact you immediately if we have any queries regarding your order.
On receipt of your artwork, we will supply one of three types of proof:
a)E-mail proof – please ensure we have an address if you wish to take this option. This proof is really only for checking content, not for colour matching!
b)Low resolution proof – this is a paper proof and will be sent by post and gives a clear guide for position and content, but not useable as a colour guide.
c)High resolution proof – this is a high quality paper proof and will be sent to you by post. These proofs are produced on a printer calibrated to our print machines and will give you a very good indication of the finished product (though please consider that if you have selected either a matt finish or for your job to be printed on the reverse side of the board or paper, this will alter the end product considerably!).

We will require your written proof approval before proceeding with the job.

Our production time is usually five working days from receipt of PDF files or proof approval, with any “special effects” or “special finishes” (die-cutting / foil blocking / numbering etc.) taking a few days longer.
You will be contacted at any point during the production process if we encounter any problems.
On completion of your order, we will contact you to advise a delivery date if we are delivering directly to you. If you have given us instructions to deliver to a pressing plant, we will fax over a copy of the delivery note when the goods are on their way, and we will post some file copies to you. Please note that deliveries to private addresses cannot be time specific.
The price you are quoted will include one delivery within the M25. Any additional or split deliveries or deliveries outside the M25 will be charged extra, on quotation.
We accept various payment methods:
a)Request an account form, and once we have checked your references, we will be pleased to offer you an account with 30 day payment terms.
b)By cheque – however, if you do not have an account with us, we will require the funds to be cleared before delivery or collection of your goods.
c)By bank transfer – please contact us for our Bank account details.
